Henry's Hospital Wedding
After months in the ICU, a COVID-19 survivor marries his fiancée outside of a Florida hospital, surrounded by the doctors and nurses who saved his life.
There are so many ways to help in the world; at Memorial Health, we start at home, with a desire to not only improve individual lives, but to also build stronger, healthier communities. From local Memorial Health initiatives to HCA Healthcare national partnerships, our colleagues are deeply committed to learning, serving and leading in their communities . And they are generous as well. In 2020, more than 5,400 community organizations were supported through HCA Healthcare colleagues' charitable acts of giving and volunteering.
We have always found collaborators along the way, and have benefitted from seeking new avenues for improving health and well-being. Through partnerships with likeminded organizations, we are able to make a positive impact in the lives of our patients and colleagues and in our communities.
For example, Memorial Health has established a community benefit fund that has awarded $750,000 to more than 35 charities in just three years. They work closely with the Ronald McDonald House, CURE Childhood Cancer and the Savannah Affordable Housing Fund - just to name a few!
HCA Healthcare also partners with national nonprofit organizations, including supporting the March of Dimes in their goal to improve the lives of moms, babies and families across the country.
We want the same things that our patients want: healthier communities that lead to healthier tomorrows.
