About

WE
SHOW
UP®

HCA Healthcare is driven by one mission:
Above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life.

We are one of the nation's leading providers of healthcare services, comprised of more than 180 hospitals and approximately 2,300 ambulatory sites of care, including surgery centers, freestanding emergency rooms, urgent care centers and physician clinics, in 20 states and the United Kingdom.

Every day, more than 290,000 colleagues go to work with a collective focus: our patients. To support our colleagues' overall health and well-being, we provide free and confidential counseling services, tuition and student loan assistance, retirement and financial planning resources and other benefits.

We are proud of the impact we have in our communities through employment, investment and charitable giving. In 2022, HCA Healthcare provided more than $44.2 million in enterprise giving to community organizations. In addition, HCA Healthcare pays significant taxes that help revitalize communities. We incurred $5.6 billion in federal, state and local taxes in 2022, including $2.3 billion of income, property, sales and use taxes. We also delivered charity care, uninsured discounts and other uncompensated care at an estimated cost of more than $3.5 billion in 2022.

At HCA Healthcare, we are excited about the future of medicine and we believe we are uniquely positioned to play a leading role in the transformation of care.
